A classic yacht with great history, At first glance the classic styling and beautiful lines of “Pacifica” capture the imagination of the beholder. With a remarkable length to beam ratio. “Pacifica” is a coinsures sailing machine with spritely response and agile handling through the tiller. Her Masthead Cutter rig with two furling headsails and bow sprit makes her a joy to sail with ease of sail handling and reefing. Natural light easily enters the main salon through the generous coach house windows, and at night there is the option of electric lighting or the warmth and mood provoking glow of oil lamps situated throughout the vessel. A removable wooden dinner table is located in the Main salon between the two salon settees. On cold winter evenings a wood burning cabin heater fills the cabins with warmth and ambience. The Master cabin is situated forward with a double berth and ample storage, beautiful natural timbers adorn the cabin bulkheads and brass fittings accent the cabinetry. A forward opening deck hatch allows ample air flow and light.
This is a completely rebuilt and refit 1946 Fellows and Stewart Inc. “Island Clipper” wood hull, round “slack” bilge, full keel, flush deck, diesel auxiliary cutter fit with stainless bow sprit. Considered suitable type for use in Southern California waters or extended cruising as found when provisioned. Owner / operator is experienced and knowledgeable with vessel. General Maintenance Notes “Pride of Ownership” and found in “Bristol” fashion. Hauled at this time for routine underwater body maintenance. Interior found neat, clean and well ventilated. Bilges clean and dry to lowest pump pick up. Trunk cabin stable for age. Logs, manuals and records retained aboard. : Vessel appears to have had excelent maintenance.
